The printer control panel is blank or black.
Your printer may not be plugged into an adequate power source, such as a power strip or surge protector. If this is the case, power off the printer, disconnect it from its current power source and plug it directly into a wall outlet. Turn on the printer to test if the control panel is functional.
The screen may be staying blank due to a software/hardware issue that can be fixed by resetting the printer.
