Step 1

              Touch Screen

Remove the two anti-tamper covers from the bottom corners of the screen using the spudger which will reveal two screws.
Remove the two 3mm screws using the J00 Phillips screwdriver.

Remove the two anti-tamper covers from the bottom corners of the screen using the spudger which will reveal two screws.

Remove the two 3mm screws using the J00 Phillips screwdriver.

Step 2

Move the plastic opening tool along the seem while prying up to separate the display housing from the laptop cover.
If the touch screen housing is cracked, it may splinter or shatter while separating.

Step 3

Remove the four 3mm screws using the Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Remove the four 3mm screws using the Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Step 4

Lift the white UPC tape using the spudger, and disconnect the the golden connector from the screen.
There may be a piece of black tape connecting a bundle of wires to the screen. Remove the piece of black tape if present.
Remove the touch screen.

Remove the touch screen.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
