- Next, use a size PH1 Philips head screw driver to remove the screws.

- The fan is located here. You will need to remove three screws in order to lift the fan out from the motherboard.
- You will need a Phillips 00 size screwdriver to remove the screws.

- Use your screwdriver to remove the three screws connecting the fan to the motherboard.

- Grab the fan with your hand, and lift up and away from the motherboard.

- Lift up the heat sink by the strip of metal connecting it to the exhaust vent, and pull it away from the motherboard.
