Step 1

- Turn the notebook over and remove the Gimmi covers with a small screwdriver.

Unscrew the cover
- Now unscrew all 9! screws (see arrow) and carefully loosen the lower shell.

Install hard drive SSD M.2
- Now install the new M.2 SSD and fasten it with the small screw (arrow).

Install 2.5" SSD or HDD
- Now plug the new hard drive into the appropriate connector.
- Tighten the two screws.

Close and tightening the cover
- Close the notebook with the bottom shell and make sure that everything clicks into place nicely.
- Screw everything back together and press the small rubber covers tight.

- Insert the battery.
- Turn on the device.
- Reinstall Windows or format the new hard drive if you installed it as an add-on hard drive.
