Introduction

What you need

Step 1

              Motherboard               
  • Unplug all cords from the printer and remove the paper.

  • Using the Torx T5 screwdriver, remove the four screws connecting the scanner bed module to the printer base.

Step 3

  • Gently lift the scanner bed module slightly off of the printer base. Be sure to carefully unplug the ribbon cables before fully removing the scanner bed.
  • Unplug the ribbon cables by pulling them gently straight out of their plugs.

Step 4

  • Remove the cables connected to the motherboard by gently pulling them straight out. Do not unplug the cables by pulling on the wires.
  • Unplug the last two ribbons connected to the motherboard by gently pulling them straight out.
  • Be sure to take note of where all plugs and ribbons are connected to the motherboard.
  • Remove the motherboard from the device.

Be sure to take note of where all plugs and ribbons are connected to the motherboard.

Remove the motherboard from the device.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
