What you need

              Wifi antenna card               
  • Grab a Type-Cross #1 screwdriver and unscrew the 3 screws and take off the cover of the wifi antenna card.

  • Use your finger tips to pry off the gray antenna connections.
  • Be careful to not pull the antenna wire too hard, you may cause damage to the connection permanently and/or motherboard.
  • The screwdriver is only being use to demonstrate which wire to remove. The screwdriver can potentially damage the motherboard if used improperly.

Step 3

  • After removing the connection cable, remove the two screws that hold the wireless card to the motherboard.
  • Then gently remove card without causing any damage to card itself or surrounding parts.
