Step 1

              RAM               
  • Locate the back plastic casing covering RAM chip.
  • Find the plastic casing, located in the middle of the underside of the laptop.

Step 2

  • Remove the back plastic casing covering the RAM chip.
  • Unscrew and remove the M2 screw with a #1 Phillips Head Screwdriver.
  • Remove the plastic casing (should be free at this point).

Unscrew and remove the M2 screw with a #1 Phillips Head Screwdriver.

Remove the plastic casing (should be free at this point).

Step 3

  • Remove the RAM chip from underneath the casing. It should easily pop out.

Step 4

  • Replace the RAM chip with a new RAM chip.

Replace the RAM chip with a new RAM chip.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
