- Begin by flipping the laptop over to its backside.
- Remove all 13 Phillips #00 screws (5.7 mm in length).
- You must remove four rubber feet to remove the top corner screws.

- Turn the laptop over and open it to face you.
- Insert a prying tool between the keyboard and bottom cover, and slide the prying tool in a counter-clockwise direction to separate the casing.

- Once detached, carefully lift the keyboard upwards.
- Disconnect the two ribbon cables attached to the motherboard.

- Lift the black ZIF tab and disconnect the daughterboard ribbon cable.
- Use a nylon spudger or tweezers to disconnect the cable connecting the battery and the motherboard by sliding it out in the downward direction.
- Disconnect the speaker cable from the motherboard.

- Once all connections have been removed, begin unscrewing all nine screws from the battery.
- Lift the battery carefully and put aside.

- Lift the adhesive tape.
- Once the tape has been lifted, both left and right speakers can be removed.
