- Flip the Chromebook right side up and open it to form a 180 degree angle.

- Use the iFixit opening tool to pry open the bezel. Start from the bottom of the screen and work your way around the sides.
- The bottom edge of the bezel may stick because there is glue holding it together.

- Use spudger or the iFixit opening tool to remove the bezel.
- When prying, be careful not to damage or snap bezel. This is made up of very, thin plastic.
- Pull bezel from the bottom, once all clips are detached.
- Remove bezel.

- Remove the four 2mm JIS #000 screws.

- Use tweezers to pull the tape back and remove the connector attached to the back of the LCD panel.
- Be cautious when pulling back the tape—the connector/ribbon is fragile and could snap easily.

- Remove the LCD/display panel from the Chromebook frame.
