Ensure the device is in range of the Wi-Fi router. The Wi-Fi signal may be disrupted if it is traveling through dense surfaces, such as brick or concrete walls. The signal may also face interference by the radio frequencies other nearby electronic devices emit, which can either slow down or completely drop a connection. Shift the device, router, or both to a new location within range of each other.
