  • First make sure you have a clear work space
  • Make sure you have all of the tools to do this job! If not you may break something else doing this Repair

Step 2

  • My keyboard is kind of bad so the general idea is to get a flat bladed screwdriver under Neath of the old keyboard not the keys it may help if you take all of the old keys off around the sides

  • pry Up on the old keyboard until you see the 5 pins pop up out of place once all 5 come undone the old key board should come right out

  • Now the old keyboard is out.

  • Put the pins of the new keyboard in then put it back into place as the old one was.

  • That’s the end your laptop should be working just right now one thing I forgot to mention was you had to plug the cable on the keyboard back in if you did not do so your keyboard definitely will not work.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

The keyboard you totally destroyed which was not required. You undo the screw on the bottom under the door, and then use the pins at the top of the keyboard which then the keyboard will come up slightly where you can get under it and pry gently along the top, and then sides… After that the keyboard pulls right out and you undo the ribbon cable…

You murdered that keyboard… If you are going to create instructions for others to follow, please make sure you know what your doing to begin with… So no one follows your poor example

Sorry but it’s not my fault it was the first time I worked on one I don’t know everything yet I’m only 17 and I’m learning as I go
