  • Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.

  • Turn the computer upside down on a flat surface.

  • Firmly slide the release latch to unlock the battery and slide the battery release latch to release the battery.

  • Lift the battery from the middle and then pivot it outward to remove it from the computer.

              Screen               
  • Remove the bezel by prying it away from the screen using the spudger.
  • Note: Some models may have two screws hidden behind round covers in the lower section of the bezel.

  • Remove the four 3mm PH1 Phillips head screws in each corner of the screen and do not care about outer screws.

  • Remove the screen and place the screen very softly on the keyboard.

  • Remove the sticker gently and disconnect the metal blade.
