If your battery fails the tests and needs to be replaced, you are able to purchase a new battery and replace it following this guide.

What you need

• Unplug your laptop from its power adapter.
• Turn the laptop over.

• Slide the Battery lock slider to the right until you see the “Unlocked” lock symbol.

• Slide the Battery release slider towards the battery while pulling the battery out.

Slide the Battery release slider towards the battery while pulling the battery out.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
