- Use a bowl to pour a small amount of either alcohol or vinegar, using enough to cover the tip of the markers.
- Soak the tip of the markers in the alcohol or vinegar until the ink comes out of the tip of the marker.
- In some cases, you will see the ink of the marker swirl out.

- Place the cap back on the marker.
- Let the marker sit tip side up for at least 24 hours. The alcohol should penetrate inside the tip of the marker.

The dry erase markers should be kept in a cool, dry location. You may have exposed your Expo markers to the sun or extremely cold conditions if you constantly need to buy new ones because they dry up so rapidly.
