Step 1
Cabin Air Filter
- Open the glove box and empty all of its contents.
- The following step is crucial. You’ll break the damper arm if you disconnect the stopper arms and pull down the glove box while the damper arm is still attached. Replacing it requires the removal of a substantial portion of the dashboard, which is a major undertaking.
- Gently push the glove box damper arm on the right side of the glovebox to the right, you can release it. The latch will be released by a pin, and the arm will be lifted out of the aperture.

- The heating blower unit is visible now that the glove box has been lowered. The air filter tray is located at the top of the blower.
- Push the two locking tabs on the front left and right in towards the center with your fingers and pull off the cover.
- These two locking tabs on the front left and right hold the air filter cover in place.

Step 4
- With the cover removed, take out the old filter.
- Take note of the direction the air should pass through the filter. The heating blower blows air from top to bottom . An indication mark should be present on the tray.
- Place the new filter in the filter tray. The hard sides of the filter are placed on the tray’s left and right edges.

Step 5
- Reinstall the filter cover in the heating blower in the same manner as it was removed.
- When fully installed, the left and right locking tabs should snap into position.

- Push both sides of the glove box inwards the same way as in Step 2 and push it back into the housing

- Gently reinstall the damper arm on the right side of the glovebox by pushing it back into the aperture. The latch will lock back in, and the arm will be connected to the aperture.
- Close the glove box and put your items back inside. You’ve completed the task!
