Scott Mountain Bike Handlebars
- Prop bike upright
- Unscrew the hex bolts holding the front and rear shifter in place.
- Use the H4 size hex wrench
- Repeat for other side of handlebars.

Step 2
- Slide the shifters toward the center of the handlebars so there is a gap between them and the grips.
- Repeat for other side of handlebars.

- Use a flathead screwdriver to wedge a gap between the grip and the handlebars.
- Twist grip around until it comes off of handlebar.
- Repeat for other side of handlebars.

- Slide the shifters off of the end of the handlebars.
- Let them hang on the bike.
- Repeat for other side of handlebars.

- Unscrew the hex bolts holding the center bracket in place.
- Use H3 hex wrench.
- Place center bracket and hex screws off to the side. They will be needed in the next step.

- Attach new handlebars and screw the center bracket back in place.
- Make sure that handlebars are centered.

- Slide the shifters back onto the handlebars so that the numbers are upright.
- Do not screw them back in place yet.

- Slide the handlebar grips back onto the ends of the handlebars.
- Slide the shifters back against the grips and screw them into place.
