              Compressor Start Device               
  • Remove all items from the fridge if possible.
  • Unplug the fridge from the wall outlet.
  • You may need to slide the fridge out from its spot in your kitchen to reach the plug. Be sure to have a friend help you move the fridge if it is very heavy.

Step 2

  • Remove the ten screws from the rear panel with a Square Head #0 screwdriver.

  • Remove the rear panel.
  • Pull the power cord up while removing the rear panel.
  • Once you remove the rear panel everything will usually be dusty. Use a vacuum or broom to remove the dust if necessary.
  • Remove the clip from the top of the compressor start device using the needle nose pliars.

Step 4

  • Remove the old compressor start device by unplugging it from the compressor.

Step 5

  • Put in the new compressor start device.
  • Resemble your new compressor start device and make sure that it is secure.
  • Connect your new compressor start device to the locking tab.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
