- Choose a thread the same colour as the towel.
- Use sewing scissors to cut a piece of thread about 18 inches long.

- Thread the string through the needle.
- Tie a knot at the longest end of the thread.

- Flip your towel over so the backside of the towel is facing up.

- Starting at one side of the rip, insert the needle through the trim and then the towel.
- Pull the thread through until it stops at the knot.

- Flip the towel over so the front side is facing up.
- Insert the needle through the towel, then the trim.

- Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you reach the end of the trim.

- Pull the string through with enough length to create a small loop.
- Put the needle through the loop and pull the string to tie a knot.

- Remove the needle.
- Use your sewing scissors to cut the remaining thread.
