All that you need is a Phillips #2 screwdriver and a few minutes of your time.

  • If the swivel mechanism on the arm of your guitar wall mount is hanging down and isn’t responding to pressure, odds are the arm has become disengaged from the gears.

Step 2

  • Remove the loose arm.

  • Remove the two 6.5 mm screws from the mount with a Phillips #2 screwdriver.
  • Remove the whole mount from the wall.

Step 4

  • Insert the arm’s shaft inside the marked circle.
  • Make sure that the gears in the bracket are aligned.

  • The mount should look like this after correctly inserting the loose arm piece.

Step 6

  • Make sure the arms swivel appropriately with pressure and without pressure.

Screw your mount back onto the wall, and you’re good-to-go!
