You can apply these 6 steps to any type of earring that has a broken or missing jump ring and replace it with a new one. It is easy to replace and inexpensive to buy, you can get it in any jewelry or craft supply store.

- Take the jump ring with the two small needle-nose pliers.
- Gently open the jump ring using the needle nose pliers.

- Take the top part of the earring with your dominant hand.
- Put the jump ring through the top part of the earring.
- You can hold the jump ring with a small needle-nose pliers with your non-dominant hand.

- Pass the earring through the opening of the jump ring.
- Make sure that both parts of the earring face the same direction.

- To close the jump ring, use both of the needle nose pliers.
- Use your dominant hand to close the space in the jump ring.
- Try to keep your non-dominant hand still.

- Make sure that the jump ring is closed.
- Hold the earring up to make sure it’s secure.
