Step 2

Dip the chisel scraper into the patching plaster, and begin to fill the hole. Use a gentle pressing motion to fill. Press multiple layers of the plaster until the entire hole is filled.
Let the wall dry for at least three hours.

After the filling is fully dry, take a damp sponge and gently remove any access plaster from the wall. First, start with the surface surrounding the hole.

Remove the painters tape from the wall.

Great guide to fixing plasterboard. I normally just try to fit a scrap piece of plasterboard in the hole when fixing it, but using cardboard is a much easier and better idea.
