The requirements are simple: the printer should have a strong, heated print bed. That’s all!

First, turn on your 3D printer and make sure that there are no objects (such as plastic left on it) on the print bed.
Make sure the printer is fully functional. It must not have any malfunctions, as higher temperatures are used here.

Now heat the print bed to 70-80 °C, depending on how capable your printer is. You can safely leave the hotend cool, we don’t need it.
Do not touch the print bed! You can get burned.

Step 3

Put the cell phone on the print bed and set yourself a timer of 30 seconds.
This should be sufficient for these purposes. However, if the phone is still too cool, you can put it on for another 15 seconds.
The print bed actually transfers a lot of direct heat. That means you don’t have to wait long.
When you’re done, you can take the phone off the print bed and start fooling around on it.
It is better to handle the phone with protection, such as a kitchen towel or gloves! The underside of the cell phone gets very hot.
