- Place the pot of water on a stove.
- Turn the stove burner on to medium heat.
- Heat the water to approximately 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Use a thermometer to ensure proper heat.
- Do not heat water near or above a temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit to avoid damaging/melting the plastic.

- Place the LEGO baseplate in the pot of heated water for 5-7 minutes.
- Ensure that the LEGO baseplate is fully submerged for the entire heating duration.

- Turn the stove off and remove the baseplate from the water.
- Dry the LEGO baseplate using a paper towel.

- Quickly sandwich the baseplate between two flat baking pans while the baseplate is still warm.
- You can use any two flat, sturdy objects if baking pans are unavailable.

- Place two plastic clamps over the two pans to evenly apply firm pressure against the baseplate.
- If clamps are unavailable, you can use weights to apply similar pressure.
- Leave the LEGO baseplate in between the pressure of the baking pans for at least 5 hours.
