Introduction

The problem with an unbalanced hydraulic chair tends to be an issue with the base of the chair, usually due to missing or damaged screws.

This guide is simple enough that anyone with no experience in repair will be able to follow through to the end and achieve the result they wish.

Before beginning, make sure that you have another person to lend a hand as the seat of the chair might be too heavy for one person.

Step 2

  • Use your foot to repeatedly pump the hydraulic height-adjustment pedal under the chair until the chair reaches max height.
  • While holding the pedal down with your foot, grab both arm rests and pull the chair upwards.

  • Lift the base-ring off the base to reveal the holes for the screws.

  • Place a screw with a washer attached into a hole and tighten it with a 7/32" hex bit.
  • Repeat this process for the other 5 screws and washers.

  • Align the bottom of the seat with the top of the pole, and gently put it back into position.

  • Make sure the seat is properly fitted onto the pole by gently pushing down on the seat.
  • Check the stability of the pole by gently shaking the chair.
