  • Using a flathead screwdriver unscrew the four 10mm corner screws.
  • Remove the plastic container and set it aside.

  • Using a Phillips #1 screwdriver remove the two 15mm screws that are marked in the photo.

  • Remove the inner mechanisms by sliding them up and off the metal rod.

  • Remove the metal top with both hands on the sides.
  • Lift up, sliding it up and off the metal rod.

  • Now you can see into the inner mechanisms.
  • Locate the stuck quarter and try to remove it.
  • For better access, lift up the left hinge to release the entire mechanism.

  • Remove the inner mechanism by pulling out one side before sliding out the whole mechanism.

  • Find the stuck quarter in the mechanism.
  • Remove the quarter with your hands by simply pulling (use a plier if needed).

  • Slide the mechanism back in, right side in first followed by left.
  • Lock the mechanism in place by sliding the hinge lock back down.

  • Return the metal top by sliding it back down the metal rod.
  • To secure the metal top back into place pull it forward so it covers the front of the machine.

  • Slide the rotation mechanism back down so it sits with one of the three holes is fully over the hole.
  • Slide down the cover mechanism so it aligns with the screw holes.
  • Use a phillips head screwdriver to screw down the two side screws.

  • Replace the plastic container so it aligns with the four screw holes.
  • Replace the four screws using a flat head screwdriver.

  • Replace the candy and the lid.
