- Turn the lamp shade knob in a counterclockwise direction to remove it.
- Lift the lampshade to remove it.

- Turn the light bulb in a counterclockwise direction to remove it.

- Lift the tabs up from the base.
- Squeeze the lamp shade posts inward to release them.

- Place the flat side of the screwdriver against the flat side of the nut inside of the base.

- While placing pressure against the nut, grip the light socket and turn it in a clockwise direction until it is tight against the base.
