              How to Fix a Leaky Gutter               
  • Clean the area around the leak with a wire bush or garden trowel and a bucket, taking out the leaves and debris placing what you remove in the bucket and flushing the gutters with water using a hose to make sure you have a clean area, as well as rinsing and drying the area thoroughly.
  • Since this requires a ladder, it is better to have another adult nearby just to stay safe!

  • Clean any caulks from around the downspout joints using a stiff wire brush.

  • Apply the silicone caulk to the joint area to seal leaks and reassemble the gutter system.
