  • Remove the nineteen screws from the back plate using a JIS #1 screwdriver.
  • Locate one of the openings on the side and gently pull up to remove the back plate.

  • Inspect computer fan for dust accumulation. If dusty, move on to the next step.

  • With the compressed air, blow at an angle and from a distance to displace the dust.
  • You do NOT need to blow for very long. Blowing for a long period can damage the fan.
  • Use vacuum after blowing to clean up any dust left behind.

After blowing out your fans, go in reverse order to put everything back together properly. After this, your MSI GS70 is ready to go.
