              How to Connect LED Strip Lights               
  • Attach one strand of lights using the pre applied glue or a hot glue gun where you desire.
  • Make sure you leave a little slack at the end of the strand to connect to the second strand of lights.

  • Find the other side labeled RGB with prongs and/or wires and repeat the process from Step 1.
  • Leave slack on the end to reach the other strand.

Step 3

  • Once you determine which side you have ended with (either prong side or plate side), you will then determine which set of RGB labeled plates you will connect to.

  • Using the prong side make sure both sides line up “RGB” to “RGB” on both sides.
  • Place each prong so it coordinates with the correct opposite plate.
  • Push towards the wall into the plate using the prongs and make a firm connection.

Step 5

  • Using tape or hot glue firmly secure the center of the connection to the wall or desired area making sure there is little movement in the wires.
  • Try and avoid gluing the metal plates. You may cut off connection from your prongs if not careful.

Step 6

  • Turn on the light strip to make sure all the lights come on. Test to see if the colors change to make sure they all look correct and match each other.
  • If they do not work correctly restart from step two.
