Introduction
Over time, dust can build up inside of the device which could block the sensors and prevent the mouse from working properly. The dust can be removed by using a microfiber cloth or a damp towel.
Before disassembly, ensure power is removed from the device.
What you need

Disassembly
- Unplug the USB cord to disconnect the mouse from the power
- Use a Phillips 00 Screwdriver to unscrew one screw.

Complete mouse disassembly
- Take off the top of the mouse.
- Use a microfiber cloth or a damp towel to remove any debris located inside of the highlighted areas.

Sensors
- Twist the ball counter-clockwise to remove it.
- Clean the ball with a microfiber cloth.

Wipe gently with microfiber cloth
- Clean the vertical and horizontal ball sensors with a microfiber cloth.

Examining Wheel
- Examine the wheel for debris. The wheel can get dirty frequently which affects performance and may cause issues.
- Remove any debris found and clean the wheel with a microfiber cloth.

- The wheel clicker sensor is located under the wheel.

- Remove the wheel to expose the sensor.
- Remove any debris and wipe down the sensor with a microfiber cloth.

Plug it back in
- Insert the USB Cable back into your computer to supply with power.
- Test functions of the mouse to insure proper cleaning and reassembly.

If there are still issues, Examine the cord and the USB leads in the male port
- Examine the cord for frays or any exposed wire that may cause a bad connection.
