• Slide the battery cover up and off the phone.

• Pop the battery out of its slot by lifting it up.

              How to check Sony Ericsson W200i battery voltage               

• Plug the red probe into the center jack, the black probe into the bottom jack, and turn the range selector switch to 20 DCV.
• Turn the multimeter on.

Turn the multimeter on.

Step 4

• Touch the red probe to the indicated positive side and the black probe to the indicated negative side.
• Replace the battery if the voltage reads below 2.5 volts.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
