Step 1

              How to Access the Navigation Service Menu of the BMW E38 E39 X5 Z4 E46 Navigation system               

• Turn the ignition key to the first position
• From the Main menu screen select SET using the right rotary button
• Press and hold the MENU button for approx 8 seconds
• Select the Desired menu item from the Navigation Service mode
• To exit Service mode, press the MENU button
