Introduction

For all smart consumers and for independant Miele repairers: this is the trick that is kept secret: if you slide the machine from under the cabinet, you will see the lock mechanism. Check fully left of the white plastic arm, at the end you can rewind the ratchet inside. Take 10 turns while you hear it rattle and thats all. Now the spring is reloaded and the door will close tightly again, without leaking!

Not in the manual, until europe ecodesign rules will make it obligatory.

Miele nieuwigheid zorgt voor narigheid. Auto-open is een deursluiting die een droger-stand heeft. Bij de afloop van het programma duwt een mechanisme de deur open zodat de vochtige lucht kan ontsnappen en de vaat dus sneller droogt zonder energie. Als de gebruiker de deur dichtduwt tijdens de droogfaze verspringt het veermechanisme. Daardoor sluit de deur niet goed meer met lekken tot gevolg. De veer kan opnieuw opgedraaid worden zoals aangetoond in de handleiding. Een servicebeurt uitgespaard.
