The wheels will not spin.

Double check that the power button is on. Then see if the hoverboard will move once the power button is turned on.

Consider replacing the battery if the hoverboard stops working unexpectedly.

Ensure the wires are receiving power. If not, consider replacing the hoverboard’s motor.

The hoverboard is unstable when trying to ride it.

Sometimes if the system is not calibrated properly, the hoverboard will remain unstable. In order to recalibrate, put the hoverboard on a flat surface, then press and hold the power button down until the LED lights begin to flash. After 30 seconds, shut the hoverboard off.

If the hoverboard also will not steer properly and is not responding to changes in pressure on the foot mats, the foot mats may be broken and need replacement.

The hoverboard has a central bearing which allows the two sides of the hoverboard to turn as needed. If this bearing is broken, the hoverboard will not be able to reset itself to a flat position. If recalibration does not work and the hoverboard seems to be stuck and unable to tilt each side separately, consider replacing the bearing.

If the foot mats can still sense pressure changes and recalibration does not work, the motherboard may need to be replaced.

The hoverboard dies faster than it is supposed to.

If you notice your hoverboard still does not drive after being charged, the battery may be defective and need to be replaced.

If the light on the charger does not light up, then the charger is faulty and needs to be replaced.

If you plug in the hoverboard and the charger light is green, then the battery is 100% full. If the issue is not the battery, then it is the motherboard that needs replacement.

The LED light is flashing red.

Disconnect all connections, then reconnect all wires. Check to make sure none of the wires are loose. The main connections to focus on are that of the motherboard.

Recommend purchasing a replacement motherboard and replacing the circuit boards.

The internal motor is impossible to fix. Consider purchasing a new internal motor.

Typically, the hoverboard’s LED lights will flash red when it’s charge is low. You may just need to recharge your hoverboard.

The hoverboard fails to turn on and drive.

Plug the charger into the wall and make sure the light is red. If the red light disappears, then the internal circuits are bad and need to be replaced.

Plug the charger into the wall and make sure the light is red. If the red light stays on, turn the hoverboard on. If you see a flashing orange light appear, the battery needs replacement.

Plug the charger into the wall and make sure the light is red. If the red light stays on, turn the hoverboard on. If the hoverboard fails to turn on, the charging port is damaged. Unscrew and remove the bottom of the hoverboard to see if the charging port wires have faults or are plugged in properly.
