Step 1

              Throttle/Brake Lever
  • Unscrew the scooter handle.
  • The scooter handles are left-handed or reverse threaded, so twist clockwise to remove them.

Step 2

  • Push back the fastening clips by wedging the plastic spudger between the clip and the throttle handle.
  • Insert iFixit opening picks between each fastening clip and the throttle handle to prevent re-fastening.
  • Pull the throttle lever off gently by pulling towards you.
  • The spring housed in the handle can sometimes send the lever flying. Maintain a firm grip on the throttle lever.

Insert iFixit opening picks between each fastening clip and the throttle handle to prevent re-fastening.

Step 3

  • To reassemble, insert the spring into the placement hole, housed inside the throttle handle. Insert the other end of the spring into the placement hole inside the throttle body housing.

Step 4

  • Twist the throttle lever back to its original orientation by rotating it to the left.
  • Apply pressure to the throttle handle until you hear the fastening clips take hold the of the throttle lever.
  • Make sure the throttle lever is fully inserted and flush with the display throttle body.

Step 5

  • Reattach the scooter handle.
  • Make sure to twist the handles counterclockwise to tighten.

I cant squeeze the spudger and the pick between this and the spudger broke…what the!!!
