Height Adjustment Wheels
- Place the vacuum on its back.
- Push the red switch to the left.
- The black cover will then pop out. Remove the cover.

- Locate the red switch near the head of the vacuum.
- Push the switch left.
- This will pop out the plastic base plate. Remove the plate from the vacuum.

This will pop out the plastic base plate. Remove the plate from the vacuum.
Step 3
- Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove the screws from the right side of the white plastic frame.

Step 4
- Remove screws from the left side of the white plastic frame.
Remove screws from the left side of the white plastic frame.
Step 5
- Pull the white plastic frame away from the vacuum.
- Slide the vacuum belt off the metal rod.
- Pull the brush off the vacuum.
Pull the white plastic frame away from the vacuum.
Slide the vacuum belt off the metal rod.
Pull the brush off the vacuum.
Step 6
- Remove the screws at the bottom of the white frame near the roller.
Remove the screws at the bottom of the white frame near the roller.
Step 7
- Pop off the right side of the white frame.
- Pull down the blue hinge and roller.
- Pull free the roller from the vacuum.
Pop off the right side of the white frame.
Pull down the blue hinge and roller.
Pull free the roller from the vacuum.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

HOOVER 30310 brush roller stops when the handle is released for vacuuming. Begins again when handle raised and locked into upright position.
