Locate the black plug directly behind your headlight.
Step 3
- After the plug is moved aside, locate the black cover that protects the bulb from any debris. My headlights are over 8 years old so I needed pliers to remove the cover since it was crusted onto the surrounding area.
- Pliers are optional.

Haven’t done the repair yet BUT These instructions look very clear and concise with good illustrations. I detest having to go to U tube instructions!!
I don’t happen to have a computer screen with me when I work on my car.

Instructions are vague, it doesn’t tell you about clip that holds bulb in place, which needs to be pushed in and moved to the side. That is the most difficult part, getting clip in proper position to release bulb, especially when you cannot see it. Referring to 2005-6 models.

2011 drivers side if you need more room you can release the fuse box from where it is attached to the metal bracket and move it somewhat out of the way. Took less than 15 minutes start to finish. Hope that helps. A YouTube video titled for bulb replacement showed removing bumper to free up headlight assembly to get at the bulbs. Overkill for the bulb but great video for replacement assembly.
