Step 1

              Back Panel               
  • Remove the front two hub caps.
  • When finished the back cover should be able to be removed.

  • Unscrew the screws with Phillips #00 screwdriver.

  • Pry the perimeter of the case with a plastic opening tool.
  • Remove the back panel.

              Trackpad               
  • Remove the electrical tape.

Remove the electrical tape.

  • Flip up the bracket holding the ribbon in place.
  • Gently but firmly pull the ribbon free.

  • Using the Phillips Head Screwdriver, remove the screws at the topmost part of the panel holding the trackpad in place.

  • Using tweezers, remove the silver electrical tape.

  • Carefully remove the trackpad from the computer.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
