There may be issues with your wireless speaker if it does not want to turn on.

If your wireless speaker does not want to turn on make sure the charger’s cable is plugged into the speaker. If the charger’s cable is plugged in and the speaker still doesn’t turn on, replace the battery. Replace using this link: Heyday Wireless Bluetooth Speaker 9979 Battery Replacement.

When you aren’t able to connect to Bluetooth you might not be pressing the right buttons.

If you are trying to connect a device to the wireless speaker and the Bluetooth is not going through, you might want to reset the Bluetooth connection on the speaker. If that does not work you can also remove the speaker Bluetooth through your device by going to Bluetooth setting and clicking on the name and it will say “unpair” or “remove the device.” After you remove or unpair you can try to pair your device to the wireless speaker again to see if the Bluetooth works.

Are the buttons not adding any volume to the speaker.

If the speaker’s audio sounds warped, it may be that the device synced to the speaker is too far away. Therefore don’t take your device out of the speaker’s zone. There could also be something interfering with the speaker so make sure nothing is in the speaker’s way. If nothing is working, try to turn off the speaker. Turn it back on and sync the BlueTooth to your device. Use this link Heyday Wireless Bluetooth Speaker 9979 Volume Technique.

Are you unable to hear a person on the phone through the wireless speaker.

First, connect your device to the Bluetooth speaker. Then talk to your voice helper, for example, “Hello Siri.” If you don’t hear anything back then there could be an issue with your microphone that needs replacing.
