The case and/or individual earbuds will not charge or show any signs of life.
Plug the case into the power cable. Check to see if the light is on inside the case. If the light does not turn on, buy a new cable for the device.
Plug the case into the power cable. If the light does not turn on even after buying a new cable, buy a new case for the device.
Plug the case into the power cable. If the light turns on, but the earbuds are not charging, replace the battery inside of each individual earbud or replace the earbuds entirely.
The case and/or earbud will not connect to the device properly.
Take the earbuds out of the case and press the button on the earbuds. If a white light does not turn on, replace the earbuds or change the motherboard for the device.
Make sure the earbuds and charging case are both fully charged before attempting to pair the device to your phone/laptop/tablet.
Make sure both devices are compatible with each other, some phones have an older Bluetooth so check the supported versions on the headphones and device to ensure that they are compatible.
The charger connecting to the case is failing to charge the earbud battery.
The first thing to check if your earbuds are not charging would be the outlet you are using. If the outlet is not working, try a nearby different outlet in another room.
Sometimes the wire itself or the charging head may be faulty so try switching it out and using a new head and new wire.
Make sure your case is fully intact and not faulty. Slight damage to the motherboard inside it or other wires is enough to prevent the charging of the case.
The microphone on one or both of the two earbuds is failing to pick up input.
The simplest issue that could be causing the microphone to not take in feedback is something potentially blocking the microphone itself. Carefully remove said obstruction with a fine point while not piercing the microphone itself.
Sometimes all the microphone needs are a restart in order to set up properly. Put the earbuds back into the case, let them turn off and reset, and then take them back out and try again.
Constant movement and motion may negatively impact the connection between the motherboard in the earbud and the microphone itself. Carefully pry open the earbud and look to see the condition of the wire that connects the microphone and board inside.
An issue where one earbud is not playing any sound.
If one earbud is seemingly not connected or dead, it may not be charged. Put both earbuds back in the case and plug them into the wall using the power adapter/charger. There is an LED indicator light at the base of the stem of each earbud indicating whether or not they are charging (therefore not charged enough to pair). When the earbuds are in the case the LED is facing up towards the ceiling and if it shows a red light that means it is charging, if it does show this red light, you then have to wait and charge them up and try again to see if they are working together, once fully charged.
This could be a slight disconnect between the earbuds and your device. What could help fix this is putting the headphones back in the case, then letting them turn off. Then turn off Bluetooth on your desired device, wait 15 seconds, then turn Bluetooth back on, on your device. Now you may put the headphones in again/pair them again, to see if they are both working together.
If the first option did not work, then you can try this solution.
Also: If your device has already been paired and is not working this solution may be for you.
With both devices on and paired (if one earbud is not working), go onto your phone, tablet, or related device that you are trying to pair the earbuds to go into your Bluetooth settings, click on the information icon for your heyday true wireless earbuds, and click forget device. This will completely unpair your device with the earbuds, so it is as if they had never been paired before.
Now that they are completely unpaired, pair the earbuds with your phone as if they are brand new. This may allow both earbuds to work together properly.
When the earbuds stay on and don’t turn off.
You can reset them by placing them back in the case. Make sure that the case is charged when attempting this. The earbuds will always be on if they are out of the case unless they are dead so the only way to turn them off is by doing this step.
If the earbuds are refusing to turn off, you could use them or leave them out of the case until they die. Then place them back in the case so they can charge back up.
