Voodoo 2 3D Video card and the menu is flashing
You may experience this issue if a Voodoo 2 card being set to Force Triple Color Buffering for Glide Apps. To shut this feature off, click Start / Settings / Control Panel. In Control Panel, double-click Display. Click the Voodoo 2 tab and then click the Advanced button. In this window, uncheck Force Triple Color Buffering and click Ok. When restarting and running the game again, your issue should be resolved.
While the game is loading, pressing Esc causes it to crash
Pressing Esc returns you to the main menu and if the game is saved from the main menu, it doesn’t know where to save and crashes. The resolution for this is to not press Esc during the time the game is trying to load a world.
