- Working on your device while it is turned on may result in electric shock. Make sure to shut down and unplug your device before you begin.
- Flip your device over so the bottom panel is facing up.

- Peel off the black rubber strips from top and bottom of the back panel.

- Remove the fifteen 3 mm Phillips #00 screws from the back panel.

- Carefully lift the back panel off of the device.

Speaker
- Remove the three red 4.5 mm Phillips #00 screws from the speaker on the right sight of the motherboard.

- Using the plastic opening tool disconnect the speaker wires from the motherboard,

- Carefully remove right speaker from the device.

- Using the plastic opening tool, pop out the connector that joins the headphone jack port on the left side to the motherboard.

- Remove the red 4.5 mm Phillips #00 screw from the top of the headphone jack port.

- Gently remove the headphone jack port.

- Remove the three red 4.5 mm Phillips #00 screws from the speaker.

Step 12
- Remove the left speaker.
Remove the left speaker.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
