              Back Panel               
  • Working on your device while it is turned on may result in electric shock. Make sure to shut down and unplug your device before you begin.
  • Flip your device over so the bottom panel is facing up.

Step 2

  • Peel off the black rubber strips from top and bottom of the back panel.

  • Remove the fifteen 3 mm Phillips #00 screws from the back panel.

  • Carefully lift the back panel off of the device.

              Speaker               
  • Remove the three red 4.5 mm Phillips #00 screws from the speaker on the right sight of the motherboard.

Step 6

  • Using the plastic opening tool disconnect the speaker wires from the motherboard,

  • Carefully remove right speaker from the device.

  • Using the plastic opening tool, pop out the connector that joins the headphone jack port on the left side to the motherboard.

Step 9

  • Remove the red 4.5 mm Phillips #00 screw from the top of the headphone jack port.

Step 10

  • Gently remove the headphone jack port.

Step 11

  • Remove the three red 4.5 mm Phillips #00 screws from the speaker.

Remove the three red 4.5 mm Phillips #00 screws from the speaker.

Step 12

  • Remove the left speaker.

Remove the left speaker.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
