Does anyone know where to find a replacement, or if you can fit the version 1 of this computer with a larger capacity battery from version 2?

Over at https://www.mysn.de/detail.asp?bestellnr… (don’t mind their stock picture), they still sell the battery for the C404 (which is identical to the P34G v2). I just bought a new 61.25 Wh GNC-J40, manufactured in 2016/07.

Will it run without the battery or is it a required part of the circuit? I have a P35G V2 and I only use it plugged in anyway.

The battery in my P34G v2 is pretty solidly stuck to the chassis. I don’t really want to pull on it too hard but is this normal?
@jens_lipponer Yes it runs without the battery fine. I have my battery disconnected as it is really swolen and the laptop boots without a problem.
