The “BIOS not installed” message is generated by computers with SCSI or RAID controllers when no bootable drive is detected. You shouldn’t encounter this message unless you have a bootable drive on the SCSI or RAID, or you want to use a SCSI or RAID drive.
If you’re not using a SCSI or RAID drive and your computer has an onboard SCSI or RAID controller, this message can be disabled in your BIOS setup.
