Upper Feed Roller Bearing
- Before you begin, make sure the drain cleaner is disconnected from power.
- Use your hand to unscrew and remove the feed pressure knob.

- Use a 1/4 inch socket wrench to remove the three bolts securing the feed roller holder plate.

- Remove the feed roller holder plate.

- Use a 3/16 inch hex wrench to remove the top swing pin.

- Use pliers to lift out and remove the pressure spring plate.

- Use pliers to lift the top carrier straight up and out of the feed body.
- During reassembly, make sure that the carrier is oriented so that its threaded hole lines up with the swing pin hole in the feed body.
- During reassembly, clean the carrier and apply new grease before inserting it into the feed body.

- Use a 3/16 inch hex wrench to remove the feed roller shaft.
- It may be necessary to insert a thin screwdriver or hex wrench into the top end of the carrier to help hold the carrier while you loosen the feed roller shaft.

- Remove the upper feed roller assembly, including the fiber disks on either side of it.
